GwoVi

Terms of Service

Effective July 29, 2026
GwoVi LLC, a Florida limited liability company

The short version.

The rest of this page explains all of that in detail.

1. What these terms cover

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and GwoVi LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("GwoVi," "we," "us"). They cover your use of the GwoVi mobile app and anything we operate as part of it.

By downloading, opening, or using GwoVi, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree with them, don't use the app.

Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect and how long we keep it. It's part of this agreement.

2. You must be 18 or older

GwoVi is an adults-only service. You must be at least 18 years old to use it.

The app asks for your date of birth the first time you open it and blocks access if you are under 18. Because GwoVi does not use accounts, we rely on you answering honestly. If we learn that someone under 18 is using GwoVi, we will end their access.

You also confirm that you are not barred from using GwoVi under the laws of the place you live, and that you have not previously been banned from the service.

3. What GwoVi is — and what it isn't

GwoVi lets several people stream live video at the same time and see each other's feeds in real time. You can record your own feed during a session and take snapshots, and those files appear in a shared gallery for the people in that session.

GwoVi is not a storage service. Recordings and snapshots are deleted automatically 24 hours after they are made. Do not use GwoVi as the only place a video you care about exists. If you want to keep something, save it to your own device before the 24 hours are up.

We may change, add, or remove features at any time. Some features may later require payment.

4. No accounts, and what that means for you

GwoVi does not use accounts or passwords. You pick a display name, and your device gets a random identifier that we use for safety enforcement.

Two consequences you should understand before you use the app:

Don't record anything in GwoVi that you would be harmed by another participant seeing, keeping, or deleting.

5. Your content stays yours

You keep ownership of the video, audio, and images you create with GwoVi. We don't claim them.

To run the service, you give us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to transmit, host, store, reformat, and display your content — only for the purpose of delivering GwoVi to you and the other participants in your session. This license ends when the content is deleted, except for material we retain as evidence in connection with a report, as described below.

You are responsible for your content. By using GwoVi you confirm you have the rights to everything you stream, record, and upload.

6. Recording other people is your responsibility

When you stream or record with GwoVi, other people may be in frame or audible. Getting their permission is on you.

Laws about recording people vary by state and country, and some of them are strict. Florida, for example, generally requires the consent of everyone being recorded before you can record a private conversation. You agree to comply with the laws that apply where you are, and not to use GwoVi to record anyone who has not agreed to it in a place where they would reasonably expect privacy.

7. Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users

GwoVi has no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior. You may not use GwoVi to create, stream, send, or share any of the following:

You also may not interfere with the service itself: no attempting to break, overload, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to GwoVi or its servers, no automated access, and no evading a block or ban.

8. Reporting, blocking, and enforcement

Every participant and every recording in GwoVi can be reported from inside the app. Every participant can also be blocked. Blocking is immediate — that person's live feed and recordings disappear for you right away, and you can review or undo your blocks from the blocked users screen.

When you file a report, we keep a copy of the relevant recording as evidence, past the normal 24-hour deletion, so we can review what happened.

We review reports and act on them within 24 hours. Depending on what we find, we may remove content, ban the device involved from the service, or refer the matter to law enforcement. We don't tell the person who reported what action we took, and we don't have to warn a banned user in advance.

We can act on objectionable content or abusive behavior whether or not anyone reports it.

9. How long things last

Recordings and snapshots are deleted automatically 24 hours after they are created. Content retained in connection with a report is kept as long as we need it to review the report, respond to it, or comply with the law.

We are not responsible for content that is deleted on schedule, and we can't recover it for you afterward.

10. Suspending or ending access

We may suspend or permanently ban your access to GwoVi, at any time and without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or created a risk to other users or to us.

You can stop using GwoVi at any time by deleting the app.

11. The service is provided as-is

GwoVi is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We don't promise that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, that live video will be any particular quality, or that content will be preserved for any period of time. Live streaming depends on your network and your device, and neither is under our control.

We also do not control what other participants do. We are not responsible for the conduct of anyone using GwoVi, on or off the service.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, GwoVi LLC and its members will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, content, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, our total liability to you for any claim relating to GwoVi is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).

Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GwoVi LLC and its members from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your content, your use of GwoVi, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of anyone else's rights — including claims brought by someone you recorded.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute that isn't resolved informally will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

Before filing anything, please contact us at [email protected] — most problems are faster to fix directly.

15. Apple

These Terms are between you and GwoVi LLC, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for GwoVi or its content.

Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for GwoVi. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund your purchase price, if any; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to GwoVi. Apple is not responsible for addressing any claim by you or a third party relating to GwoVi, including product liability claims, claims that GwoVi fails to conform to a legal requirement, or claims arising under consumer protection or similar legislation.

Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as GwoVi changes. When we do, we'll revise the effective date at the top of this page, and we'll give more prominent notice in the app if the change is significant. Continuing to use GwoVi after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

17. Other terms

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our not enforcing a provision isn't a waiver of it. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms to anyone else. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about GwoVi.
